Althaea Officinalis Root Extract Introduction:
Marshmallow Root Extract is extracted from the root of Malvaceae Althaea officinalis Linn . This plant originated in Europ, now is widely distributed in north and south west of China. Althaea Root can protect and sooth the mucous membranes. Althaea Officinalis Root Extract is highly useful for treating hacking cough, bronchial asthma, bronchial catarrh and pleurisy. It is also used to cure excess stomach acid, peptic ulceration, gastritis, colitis and irritable bowel syndrome.
